Emily Buckner is the Crab and Seaweed Project Manager at the Puget Sound Restoration Fund where she leads collaborative research investigating sustainable and restorative natural resource uses. Working with tribal partners, state agencies, and industry members, Emily coordinates research on Dungeness crab, Basket cockles, and native seaweed so as to inform best management and cultivation practices. She has a master’s degree in Marine and Environmental Affairs from the University of Washington and was previously an environmental educator.
