Kim Moa is the communications director of the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) Hawaiʻi. She was the former communications director for Kuaʻaina UluʻAuamo (KUA), a local grassroots non-profit that worked for environmental stewardship and Indigenous advocacy. Kim photographs and documents important moments in environmental work and ethnobiological relationships. She is also a kia’i loko at Loko Iʻa Pāʻaiau in Kalauao, Oʻahu.
