Wally Ito is the former project coordinator of the Limu Hui seaweed network for Kuaʻaina Ulu ʻAuamo (KUA). Wally coordinated a gathering of limu practitioners and experts, from fishermen to limu eaters, to discuss and uphold limu’s role in marine conservation and its cultural significance to Hawaiian People and communities across the Pacific. Wally is a steering committee member for the Indigenous Aquaculture Collaborative and is currently the Project Coordinator for Ewa Limu Project.
