Mackenzie Grinnell is a member of the Jamestown S’Klallam Tribe, where he works as the Traditional Foods Coordinator. He aims to educate and improve the relationship between the environment and the foods derived from the landscape, waterways, and mountains. For Mackenzie, teaching about these ancestral foods helps heal the impacts of colonization and promotes health and food sovereignty.
