Elizabeth Tobin is the Shellfish Program Manager for the Jamestown S’Klallam Tribe where she is primarily responsible for the harvest management of shellfish resources to ensure sustainable harvest opportunities for tribal citizens. She also provides technical and permitting assistance to the Tribe’s shellfish aquaculture operations, and participates in collaborative research with tribal and state co-managers to better inform resource management decisions. Elizabeth received her doctorate in Oceanography from the University of Washington and has been working for the Jamestown Tribe’s Fisheries Program for the past 5 years.
