Darcy Mathews is an Assistant Professor of Environmental Studies at the University of Victoria. His expertise is in archaeology and ethnoecology, and he works to apply these studies toward understanding human-environmental relationships through time. Darcy works collaboratively with First Nations communities in the Salish Sea, to both study and understand these relationships, as well as to support land-based learning and policy change.
