Joe Williams is a member of the Swinomish Indian Tribal Community, and a lifelong fisherman and former senator. He currently serves as the Swinomish shellfish community liaison and is raising twin daughters, who are the next generation of stewards of the lands and water. Joe is a steering committee member of the Indigenous Aquaculture Collaborative.
