
Kevin Chang is the Executive Director of Kuaʻāina Ulu ʻAuamo (KUA) a non-profit organization with a mission to empower and increase the capacity of rural and Native Hawaiian community-based natural resource management (CBRM) initiatives with a vision of ʻāina momona (abundant resources). KUA advances its mission through the facilitation of grassroots rural and Native Hawaiian community-driven learning networks and also serves as a liaison to assist in the development of equitable collaborations between communities, agencies and larger conservation initiatives locally, nationally, and internationally. Prior to KUA Kevin was a Land Manager for the Office of Hawaiian Affairs, a Field Representative for the Trust for Public Lands’ Hawaiian Islands Program, and practiced law as a solo practitioner in the field of entertainment law. Kevin is married to Alma Siria of Sonora Mexico and on occasion plays as a solo musician and in a band called Kupaʻāina. Kevin is a founding steering committee member of the Indigenous Aquaculture Collaborative.
